Army’s House

Military Barlad came into being alongside circles in Focsani, Pitesti, Ploiesti, Buzau, Constanta, Tulcea, Tecumseh and Campulung, following the Ministerial Decision no. 516 of 27 September 1912 signed by Defense Minister at the time Major General Ion Argentoianu. As everywhere in the country, the goal circle of Barlad was, as stated in the statute, one complex: from curdling ties of comradeship between officers of all weapons and all levels between the active and the reserve and up the linkage between the families of officers and civil society. According to the statutes of operation, circle members are divided into several categories: members of honor, right, founder and volunteer members. As everywhere, and Barlad Military honorary members are King Mihai I and the royal family, the acting minister, former ministers of the Armed Forces, commanders and former commanders of the army corps of respective garrisons
